The “Atlas of Histology of Biomphalaria glabrata” gathers fundamental information about the biology of the snail Biomphalaria glabrata. It is the first book in Brazil focusing on tissues of a mollusk pulmonata of the Planorbidae family. Along the 78 pages, original, color and high-resolution photographs of histological slides are presented, which allow a detailed observation of the different tissues and systems of the snail. Associated with the images are detailed descriptions of the structures.
