Illustrated cards 'Vectors of Trypanosoma cruzi, which causes Chagas disease in Brazil'

Developed by the National and International Reference Laboratory in Triatomine Taxonomy of the IOC, the blocks of cards illustrated on the vectors of the trypanosoma cruzi, which causes Chagas disease in Brazil' contribute to help identify the disease's vectors.

The material can be used by technicians who carry out inspections and collect barbers, and also in health education actions.

As the distribution of kissing bug species is quite different in the country, five sets of cards were produced, one for each region of Brazil.

Below, each of the five blocks is available for free download. For more information, send email to lnirtt@ioc.fiocruz.br.
