In the research environment, the doors are open for Teaching. The Institute plays an important role in the training of human resources in the area of ​​Health Sciences. Interns, technicians in training, future masters and doctors have the opportunity to learn in the Research Laboratories.

In the set of actions in Teaching, Postgraduate programs are included Strict sensu, Software Lato sensu, technical training activities, scientific initiation and post-doctoral studies, in addition to summer and winter courses for undergraduate students and non-formal educational activities for different audiences.

Still in the field of Education, the Institute acts strongly in national and international cooperation, through institutional agreements.
