Fiocruz conducts training in laboratory diagnosis for monkeypox virus for Latin American countries

On the 9th and 10th of June, professionals from seven Latin American countries participated, on the campus of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), in Rio de Janeiro, for training in laboratory detection and diagnosis of the monkeypox virus (MPXV). The training was the result of a partnership between the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), the Ministry of Health and the Fiocroz. The activity was carried out by the Enterovirus Laboratory of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz).
