Science, Art and Culture in Health

The programme
Created in 2010, the course has an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and innovative nature. Candidates may have higher education in any area. The course load is 510 hours, of which 375 hours are equivalent to mandatory subjects and 135 hours are related to the Final Project.

Objective
Qualify professionals from any area of ​​knowledge who want to work at the interface of 'science', culture and health, developing new pedagogical practices with theoretical foundations, thus strengthening policies for humanization, health promotion and integrative and complementary practices in health, of SUS.

Audience 
Holders of a bachelor's degree obtained from a course recognized by the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education), professionals in the fields of education, arts and culture who seek an interface with the field of health, and health professionals who already work or wish to work articulating these fields.

Term of Authorization Theses, Dissertations and Course Completion Works
The student has 90 days to deliver the final version of the final paper, after the defense date. It is mandatory to deliver 1 (one) spiral binding of the final paper to the Academic Secretariat, send the digital version and the Term of Authorization for Publication of Theses and Dissertations signed by the student and the supervisor( The)

• Catalog file
The student must follow the instructions and use the System for Automatic Generation of Cataloging Sheets of the Manguinhos Library, to generate the cataloging sheet of their work by filling in the fields of the form, in PDF file format, available for download and/or printing

Registration locking
Compulsory completion for withdrawal, the student must submit the form to the Academic Secretariat completed and signed, with the consent of the advisor, if any, and the course coordinator

scheduling procedure
Once the regulatory deadline for completion of the course has elapsed, the student must request the Reservations Sector, 60 days in advance, to pre-schedule a place for his/her defense, through the email address reservation teaching @ioc.fiocruz.br. The reservation will be made upon presentation of the Scheduling Form
