Description
The Specialization Course in Medical Entomology at Instituto Oswaldo Cruz meets an increasing demand for specialists in this area of knowledge. The Course is expected to last 510 hours, consisting of 06 (six) subjects taught between August and December of each academic year.

Objective
Specialized training of human resources for the design and development of research projects within Medical Entomology.
Audience
Higher education professionals with degrees in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry and other related areas. Professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge in Medical Entomology will have the opportunity to focus their specific studies guided by specialists within the choice intended by the student, in the offer presented by the Course.

The student has 90 days to deliver the final version of the final paper, after the defense date. It is mandatory to deliver to the Academic Secretariat one (1) spiral binding of the final paper, digital version recorded on CD and the Term of Authorization for Publication of Theses and Dissertations signed by the student and the advisor
• Catalog file
The student must follow the instructions and use the System for Automatic Generation of Cataloging Sheets of the Manguinhos Library, to generate the cataloging sheet of his work by filling in the fields of the form, in PDF file format, available for download and/or printing
• Registration locking
Compulsory completion for withdrawal, the student must submit the form to the Academic Secretariat completed and signed, with the consent of the advisor (if any), and the course coordinator
• scheduling procedure
Once the regulatory deadline for completion of the course has elapsed, the student must request the Reservations Sector, 60 days in advance, to pre-schedule a place for his/her defense, through the email address reservation teaching @ioc.fiocruz.br. The reservation will be made upon presentation of the Scheduling Form
