Technical Note in which the Oswaldo Cruz Institute makes technical considerations on the aerial application of insecticides in urban areas, permitted by Law 13.301, published in the Official Gazette on June 27, 2016. TECHNICAL NOTE No. 3/2014/IOC-FIOCRUZ/BOARD
Technical Note in which the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz recommends the use of traps as alternative tools for estimating infestation by Aedes aegypti. Currently, entomological surveillance of the dengue vector is carried out using larval indices that do not directly estimate the population of mosquitoes that impact the transmission of the virus.
