The Oswaldo Cruz Institute guides the choice of its directors in an electoral process, in which hundreds of community members participate. IOC in the debate and in the definition of the directions of the Institute is of extreme importance.

The electoral process for choosing the 2025-2029 management began on January 22, 2025, with the approval of the composition of the Electoral Commission by the Deliberative Council (CD-IOC) and then the publication of ordinance no. 17, of March 10, 2025, which establishes the creation of the group.
