Registration is open for the Carlos Chagas Lecture Series.

The event takes place on April 9th ​​and 10th and will bring together experts to discuss challenges and discoveries in Chagas disease research.

The Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/FiocRuz will hold the 14th edition of the Carlos Chagas Lecture Series (CCCP-26) on April 9th ​​and 10th, with a program that brings together researchers, students, and professionals interested in scientific advances regarding Chagas disease. 

With the theme '100+17 years since the discovery of Chagas disease: time does not stop', CCCP-26 will honor researcher João Carlos Pinto Dias, an international reference in the field.  

The program includes lectures and panel discussions on scientific legacy, contemporary discoveries, and future challenges in research on the disease. 

On April 9th, the activities will take place in a virtual format, with transmission via... Canal IOC on YoutubeOn April 10th, the event will be held in person at the Emmanuel Dias auditorium on the F campus.iocruz, in Manguinhos (RJ), including presentations of scientific papers and a joint session with the Institute's Center for Studies. 

Those interested should register by April 8th at official page of the event.  

Abstracts for presentation can be submitted until March 8th, via this link.
