Representatives of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz) and the Institute of Research for Development (IRD, in the French acronym) met on Monday morning (19).
The meeting aimed to discuss new opportunities for international cooperation between the two institutes, which already have a history of partnerships. The creation of new projects and the exchange of researchers between Brazil and France were discussed.
“Strengthening what exists and opening up possibilities”, summarized the IRD representative in Brazil, Abdel Sifeddine.
Among the collaborations already developed by IOC and IRD, are training for professionals and the international project Mosaic.

The International Cooperation Advisor at the Center for International Relations in Health (Cris), Ilka Vilardo, also participated in the meeting.
