Between microscopes, games and educational interventions, the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz) brought to ExpoRio Turismo 2026 a set of actions aimed at scientific dissemination and strengthening scientific tourism in Rio de Janeiro.

Held from March 26th to 29th at the Lagoon Complex, the largest tourism fair in the state featured a booth from... IOC, which presented to the public different areas of activity of the Institute through educational activities.

The program included microscopic observation, an exhibition on the life cycle of the barber beetle, a comic book workshop, and educational games such as House of Dreams and Science Trails, among other activities.
