“The growth reinforces the prominence of the century-old publication in the areas of Parasitology, Tropical Medicine and Microbiology, being the magazine with the highest levels of prestige and influence in Brazil and Latin America measured by the Eigenfactor score and Article Influence Factor indicators”, highlighted the publisher -head of the publication, researcher Claude Pirmez.

The magazine Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz has the third highest impact factor in Brazil. In Latin America, it is ranked first in six areas: Parasitology, Tropical Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
