Volunteer Collaborator Program

On September 12, 2016, the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz), in the use of its legal and statutory attributions, created the Volunteer Employee Program, an initiative established for the first time at the Unit with the objective of allowing the exercise of various voluntary activities (without employment or remuneration) at the institution.

Be 18 years of age or older, present a professional registration – if the activity to be carried out is regulated by law; and pass the QBA Online course offered by IOC – if required for carrying out the proposed activity – are essential requirements for joining the Program.

Volunteer activity will be carried out by signing a Term of Adhesion, signed between the coordinator responsible for the proposal and the volunteer employee. The decision to cancel the voluntary service is up to the interested parties. In this situation, the Work Management Service (SEGET) of the IOC, body responsible for coordinating the program, must be informed.
